Last night I went shopping and found a steal of a deal. A lightweight shirt for less than $5 at Banana Republic.

Worth the Wait
I have only been to the mall twice this month...probably a record. Once, to get Josh a pair of dress pants and the second (yesterday) to find a gift. Well, I didn't find a gift but I did find this...
Originally, this unique tank was priced at $39.50. Yesterday I purchased it at $3.18!!!!! Yes you read that right. I put a fitted, 3/4 sleeve, Shade shirt underneath, along with my black skinny jeans ($9.50 @ Forever 21) and WABAM....adorable outfit! Even Josh loved it! Go check out your local GAP to get the same deal. As of yesterday, all their sale items were an additional 40% off.

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree
Getting good bargains run in my family. Take for example, these little beauties (that I am currently wearing):
My mom found these COACH flats at Macy's. Originally $138, for only $12!!! I loved them so much, she gave them to me for Christmas. Thanks Mom.
Here is a link to the same pair: http://www.coach.com/online/handbags/ProductDetailWrapperView?storeId=10551&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&partNumber=q577_fzna

Please feel free to add comments about great deals you find. We all need to help each other!!! Thanks Marjorie for the comment :)
Example #2 Nude is in
Recently, I have been on the hunt for (you will hear that a lot) nude heels. The problem is, is that I am already 5'9" and my husband is, let's say, around that height. So I don't want super tall heels and I don't want to spend a fortune. There have been a few that have caught my eye, but yet, I can't pay the pretty penny the retail stores want. While at Target (one of my top favorite stores), I stopped over in the shoe section, just to see what they had to offer. Low and behold, they had a pair of nude heels for $29.99!!!
At first, I didn't not want closed toe shoe. I love a peep-toe, especially in the spring/summer with a great pedicure. But when I tried these on I thought, if I get a closed toe, I can wear these all year round, either with tights or bare-legged. I am also not a fan of the rounded toe, but these shoes really won me over. AND, they had size 11! What do you think?

Explanation
Allow me to explain this crazy new idea I have. Many of you know that I love a good deal, I mean, really GOOD. I have thought about this and yesterday in class, one of my friends told me I should start a blog. So that brings me to now! Now I am in no way giving fashion advice on this blog, but what I will be doing is telling you about great deals that I find (mostly clothes). My husband has recently titled me a "shopaholic." You have heard of Thrill seekers, yes? I would like to call myself more of a "Deal" seeker. I find cute items of clothing at stores and if they are over my ~$20 limit (mainly on shirts, not so much shoes) I go find the same style elsewhere. I can also post any sales I know of and codes that I receive in my email. Happy Shopping!!!
Example #1: There was a shirt at J. Crew which I loved, but of course, it was $45...way too much for a cotton shirt.
So I shopped around and found this top for $12! It's not the same exact shirt, but it gets the job done the same way.
This is just one example of many. Look for more posts to come!
